Delivering a luxury interior design for a two-storey care home complex

Brief

Cottage Care required an innovative design as this care-home complex that is set over two buildings. The first was an existing modern build that was tired and didn’t reflect the image our client wished to present to attract new residents. The second was a large three-floor, dilapidated house, that had two unusable floors.

NDOE’s design team quickly set about creating a look and feel for both buildings that would offer a prestigious welcome to any residents or visitors alike. With our Stirling trained team, we were able to offer advice about the current regulations for dementia care, whilst incorporating this across the buildings.

In the newer building, a new reception area allowed residents families and friends, to feel comfortable and relaxed, whilst a large lift was planned for the older building, enabling disabled access to all three floors. Bedrooms and corridors were all sympathetically designed in line with our clients vision for a luxury care home.
