We’re an enthusiastic team that cares about your space as if it were our own.

At NDD, we understand the challenges of working within healthcare and how changes in routine and environment can be daunting for both residents and the facilities teams overseeing the operation.

Our team, from design through to our build partners, have experience of designing for the healthcare sector, so take on board these challenges and work closely with business owners and staff members to minimise disruption.

Our designs comply with the latest CQC policies and procedures, whilst we keep up to date with any changes in law or think-tanks and often attend courses run by Stirling University DSDC’s Design School which is the world’s leading specialist programme on dementia design.

The University runs a course of lectures, workshops and activities tackling the environmental issues which affect people with dementia. NDD have embraced this and offer to guide our clients through the design and build regulations that govern the care home industry.

Care Homes

As well as every day areas such as bedrooms, lounges, dining rooms, bistros, hairdressing salons and cinemas, we also help to develop sensory rooms and life skill stations, taking in the needs of each of the different communities from independent living to full dementia care.

Although our designs need to be kept practical, we offer residencies outstanding design and aim to deliver an exceptional environment for all.
